This year is the first year I don't hate Valentines day! Surprising since I've been off the market for 3 years, but Im just feeling it this year. Of course, I also feel a lot more lucky this year then I do any other year. Im much more grateful for the friends I have, both here at school and abroad. Im very lucky to have people like them in my life and that what the holiday is about right?
So. I LOVE YOU!
Anyways. Story.
One: We recently learnt that Linda loves Jeff Bridges. So what do we do for Valentines day? Well Kelly, Kayleen and I surprised her with a picture of him on her door with one of those "Hey Girl" Quotes. I love my job, I really do. It was fun and the three of us laughed our asses off and acted like it was an espionage mission to tape it to her door. I guess I really will do anything to sneak around.
Two: Saturday was D&D, and Ben brought his new lady friend, who I suppose isn't so bad. Kasey and I did our best to make her feel awkward but It didn't really work. She seemed to get into playing. We are currently taking out 200 men, 10 carts and a bunch of donkeys. I want to keep a donkey or two, preferably of different genders and breed donkeys. Hell, after we pull this off why cant we just breed them? anyways. This is going to be a long encounter, spanning many nights. It just makes me realize how much I love playing. I wish I could do it all the time. I can not wait for summer when we can play weekly again.
Thats all I have to share now. Im making dinner and playing skyrim. Huzzah for getting readings done early.

Damn those chips were good.
I have been struggling to think of a cohesive topic for my post. I have so many small ideas but nothing really comes together. I suppose I should think about the nature of this blog, whats going on at school.....lets see....
The other day I went to Game Junkie with J. For those who are not sure what it is I will tell you. Its a small local video game store, and I love local businesses. The prices at this place are a bit better then game stop and they aren't douche bags. I got a bunch of used games for a decent price. J. got a new controller for his ps3 and I got...AN N64 GAME!
My experience with this system is severely lacking. I didn't grow up with it like other kids but rather, I had a computer and the Sims and games like that. I wouldn't trade my "illegal" all-nighters playing Sims or writing on the internet for anything. They were amazing. There is nothing I love more than the Sims 1 Soundtrack late at night. Its my secret study music. Shhh. To this day my dad still doesn't know that when he left for work I ninja snuck down to my computer and played Sims til 3 in the morning. In defense: I stopped being a pain in the ass to wake up because I didn't want to get into trouble. So there. Nothing Suffered. I just wanted that to go on the record. From there I moved on to playstation. I remember when we got our first one, my brother and I. It was glorious. A family friend gave it to my aunt and when we were there during the day we would play, rotating hours. It was always a fight. It ended up being so bad that Aunt Donna would hide it from us or put our favourite game away. -

NaNoWriMo
I am setting a challenge for myself. That is to attempt a NaNoWriMo. For those who don't know what this it, let me tell you...
Typically done in November, the writer has 30 days to write 50,000 words in novel form. Writing "Jenny had a really really really x40,000 long walk today" does not count. Your also not suppose to backspace from my understanding; thus no editing. Its suppose to be total crap but the point is that you have done it! I think I am going to do a trial one. I'm going to give myself until May 18th, the day before I leave for Ukraine to do this. Maybe I'll do more then that. J. also expressed interest in trying it.
I think I can do this. Im also working on getting all of the Forgotten Realms books for my Kindle. Which broke. Thank got for warranties.
